Daiichi Rubber Co., Ltd. was founded in Otaru, Hokkaido in 1935 as a rubber footwear manufacturer. This is now the only factory in Japan that can manufacture rubber boots with the vulcanized manufacturing method. Each pair is hand crafted at every stage, which allows for completely sealed boots, ensuring warm and dry feet through rainy days.
