KELTY began in 1952 in Dick Kelty's garage in Sun Valley, Southern California. An avid outdoorsman, Kelty uncompromisingly wrestled with and refined his aluminum frames, and the 29 frame packs he completed that year became the world's first backpacks."
As the story goes, for KELTY, the frame pack is both the origin and the soul.
KELTY is still creating frame packs for trekking, but the model that retains the most vintage look is this "MOUNTAINEER FRAME PACK"!
The main structure is a two-chamber structure with two separate upper and lower compartments.
The upper compartment has a flap that is held in place by a cord, and a large opening is revealed when the flap is flipped up.
Inside, there is no space for dividing things into smaller pockets or other small compartments.
Instead, there are five pockets, two on each side and one in the center, which can be used to easily organize your things.
The lower section can be opened without opening the flap, and there is a leather patch on the surface to which attachments and luggage can be strapped using straps.
Of course, the space underneath can also be used to strap down sleeping bags, mats, etc.
The bottom zipper opens to reveal a rain cover.
On the back, there is a shoulder harness and waist belt.
The width of the shoulder harness can be changed by changing the position of the pins, making it suitable for a variety of body types.
Of course, a chest strap is included.
